Who am I?Born in 1987, I am a post graduate from City University London, with a first class honours in Bsc Information Systems. Having developed a passion for data driven websites whilst studying, managing their ever changing content of websites and business goals, and providing the client with a simple solution to manage the content of their solutions without needing to understand website development. I can program using both PHP and ASP.NET(C#) and have good knowledge of both MYSQL and SQL Server. My LifeI enjoy having an active and healthy lifestyle with whatever I do. I like to keep mentally and physically active, enjoying the outdoor life and grasping the happiness of the world around me. I enjoy competition sports such as football and tennis and play regularly against friends and in teams. Living in the greenbelt, I enjoy exploiting the beauty of the local environment and regularly go for jogs or cycle through forests, rivers and canals which the area has to offer. I also enjoy a spot of fishing on the canal and fish for carp, perch and tench.
Mentally, I enjoy a challenge. I often play Chess, opting for the more aggressive
tactic to overwhelm my opponent. Additionally I like to create
miniature programs
to keep my brain active.
PhotographyI really enjoy taking photographs. Although I love taking photographs of nature and landscapes, my favourite form of photography is sports and events photography. Although there is a big difference in the two forms of photography, using totally different apertures, shutter speeds, and even the selection of ISO film, my favourite difference is that nature tends to be slow moving or even constant. You can take the time to set up the photograph, get a tripod and even take a 30 second exposure if you wish. To contrast, when doing sports or events photography, you have one chance to capture that exact precise moment in time. Get it wrong and you have just missed a great opportunity. Get it right and you will be rewarded with a stunning photograph. Sports and events photography can be very stressful, for that reason alone, it is also the most rewarding. To capture an instance of life in 1/60th - 1/2000th of a second, to get the composure and focus set in the time it takes to blink an eye, in my opinion there is no better form of technical photography. |
